Badminton: Welland and Mars in running for tile

Victory over Pearl means that Welland Valley A and Mars make the running in the mixed division of the Rutland and Stamford Badminton League.

Although Mars currently lead the division, Welland Valley A have games in hand. Welland Valley B are the only team not to have won a match yet but they have picked up a point from a close 5-4 loss to Rockning ingham earlier in the season.

The men’s division remains close between Meltonshire, Welland Valley and Uppingham Hill although Meltonshire are beginning to look the strongest having not yet lost a match.

The semi final line up in the Handicap Cup pitches Stamford at home to Pearl and Rockingham at home to Mars.
