Market Overton bowlers have enjoyed back-to back victories against local rivals, beating Greetham and Oakham last week.
Marko narrowly won their friendly at Greetham, edging their three rinks of triples 41-39.
Five rinks were played between Oakham and Market Overton with rivalry on the green echoed by good-humoured banter on the sidelines.
Marko, led by captain Betty Bell, proved to have the upper hand winning on four of the five rinks and drawing on the fifth to win 108-70.
The winning rink with the most shots was Betty’s own rink 3 with a 30-9 shot victory.

Oakham’s Thursday team’s winning run continued with a 87-74 win at Kirby Muxloe.
Oakham won on three of the four rinks with the best result from Alan Jones’ rink, which won by 15 shots. Norman Coville and Chris Wallis were the other winning skips.

l Oakham’s Saturday team recorded their biggest win of the season with a 42 shot 78-36 win in a match restricted to three rinks.
The top-scoring rink was skipped by Chris Wallis with a massive 27 shot victory. Oakham’s other winning rink, skipped by Denis Smith won by 16 shots.
