OAKHAM have gained an early advantage in the OK Trophy, winning the first match in the series of four between the two clubs.
Oakham won three of the six rinks with substantial wins on two for a lead of 28 shots going into the second match, which will be at Keyworth. Worthy of special mention were the hot shots achieved on the rink skippered by Rick Tarleton (8 shots on 1 end) and the excellent 19 shot victory by Bob Hammond’s rink.
