STAMFORD U9 Lions and Tigers roared to victory in two matches against Sleaford at the weekend.

Stamford Lions won 4–1 with a strong team performance with some amazing tackling by Alfie Ryder and James Everitt.

The Lions used the full width of the pitch and their knowledge of how the game should be played to ensure victory and the Stamford tries were scored by Luke Tooth (1) and Thomas Hill (3).

The Tigers then mauled Sleaford 9-1 in an equally exciting match.

Jordan Forde tackled hard and fast with Will Beamish and Callum zipping in and out of the action.
