Stamford's first team coach Luke Hipwell has been named as part of the new management team at Deeping Rangers.

Hipwell will be departing the Daniels to join their United Counties League Premier Division neighbours where he will be joint boss with Scott Bogusz.

Former Deeping player Bogusz was assistant manager last season at Yaxley and the duo will be joined by Ross Watson.

Watson is taking on the role of assistant boss and has previously played for King's Lynn, Stamford and Blackstones and was part of Yaxley's management team last season.

Deeping's head of football Martin Bond commented: "We are extremely delighted to appoint these managers in such a short space of time.

"The new management team share the same values and ethos that we are developing at Deeping Rangers and are aligned with our board's vision of the next stages of development at the club.

"The board believes we are now in a good position to implement our plans and, with the addition of Luke, Scott and Ross, will strengthen and lead the club as we progress through the coming season and beyond.

"We welcome Luke, Scott and Ross to the club, wish them every success and look forward to working with them."

The new management team replace Daniel French at the helm after he stepped down last week due to the time constraints involved in a new business venture.

Their first home match at the Haydon Whitham Stadium will be a pre-season friendly against Cambridge City on Tuesday, July 12.
