People will be able to train with the England rugby squad thanks to virtual reality technology.

Deepings Rugby Club will host O2’s Wear The Rose tour from 11am to 4pm tomorrow. The tour features the revolutionary Oculus Rift technology, which immerses the user in 360-degree virtual reality.

People will be able to take a turn using the headset to experience the feeling of training with England Rugby’s elite player squad.

Deepings Rugby Club chairman Mark Owen said: “It’s going to give anyone, whether you’re a rugby player or not to come and experience rugby at the highest level. I’ve also arranged for the RFU community team to come along and there will be a ‘try it’ rugby session open to all players and people that want to just give it a go.”
