Oakham Reserves match abandoned after ugly crowd scenes

Oakham United Reserves’ PDFL Division Two game away at Peterborough Polonia FC was abandoned on Saturday after the opposition player manager was struck by someone in the crowd.

Rafal Komisarczyk, 37, suffered two facial fractures and a broken nose in the alleged assault after 40 minutes of a game between the two sides.

He had just scored a goal to put his side 2-0 ahead when trouble flared.
