Stamford Lions' match at Parson Drove in the Peterborough League Premier Division is called off due to a lack of pitch markings

Stamford Lions' scheduled Peterborough League match away at Parson Drove was postponed on Saturday due to the pitch at the Wisbech-based club not being marked out.

Lions were stripped and ready for kick-off in the Premier Division match but, on entering the pitch 10 minutes prior, it was evident there was no markings.

Despite attempts to get it done, referee Oliver Hollyoak had no choice but to abandon the game at 2.30pm with the pitch unplayable without the required markings.
