Stamford face a dramatic final day of the season as they bid to clinch an Evo-Stik Division One South play-off spot.

The Daniels are only in the top five by virtue of a superior goal difference after slumping to a second successive home defeat today.

They were beaten 2-1 by Loughborough Dynamo at Kettering Road despite a goal from Ben Saunders.

Elsewhere Ciaran Holt hit a late equaliser as ten-man Deeping clinched another top-six finish.

They overcame the dismissal of Ryan Oliver when drawing 1-1 with Cogenhoe at Outgang Road.

Blackstones’ Premier Division fate is now in the hands of AFC Kempston Rovers.

Stones were beaten 3-0 at Long Buckby in their final match of the season to remain one place and one point above the drop-zone.

Dave Stratton’s side must now hope that Kempston fail to beat Sleaford in their outstanding game next Saturday if they are to stay up.

Danny Pick hit the only goal to earn Bourne victory at Olney in their penultimate Division One fixture of the season.

And in Rutland it was a mixed weekend as Oakham United came out on top of a 3-2 scoreline against Peterborough ICA Sports in the Peterborough and District League Premier Division at home. Uppingham Town lost 1-0 to Ramsey, also at home.

In Division One Ketton beat Moulton Harrox Res 3-0 while Ryhall beat Sutton Bridge 1-0.
