Rutland Water to reopen for bank and boat anglers

Anglers will be welcome back at Rutland Water from today (Tuesday).

The fishery is open to bank and boat anglers who must comply with social distancing and Government guidelines under new operating procedures following its recent closure due to the coronavirus pandemic

In order to maintain social distancing and cut down on the amount of traffic in the lodges, all boats booked need to be paid for at the point of booking.

The fishery will still be accepting 'walk-ins' for boat fishing but strongly suggest anglers book in advance.

Anglers are also asked to stagger their arrival time to reduce waiting at the pontoon and must remain two metres apart on the banks when fishing. The lodge will be open from 8am-3pm, seven days a week.
