Nassington and Ufford Park will contest the final of the Stamford KO Shield after comfortable semi-final wins last night (June 23).
Nassington saw off Stamford Town by 28 runs and Ufford Park mauled the Ketton Lions by seven wickets.
Adam Scotcher was the all-round star for Nassington, top scoring with 33 in his side’s 141-5 and then taking 3-27 as Stamford were restricted to 113-9 in reply.
Ufford kept Ketton down to 134-5 and eased to victory with 11 balls to spare. Andy Larkin (40no) batted throughout for Ufford, while Jon Collen made 39 before retiring hurt with a dislocated finger - an injury sustained when diving into his crease to complete a quick single.
The final will take place on Monday, July 14 at a venue to be confirmed.
