Bourne Town defeat Graham Street Prims in United Counties League Division One match

Two goals in each half helped Bourne Town secure their second win of the United Counties League Division One season on Saturday.

The 4-2 away win at Pinchbeck's FA Vase conquerors Graham Street Prims also ended a three-match losing streak for the Wakes.

They handed a debut to goalkeeper Danny Mountcastle - who played for Ketton in the Peterborough League last season - with regular number one John Swales out injured.

It was Mountcastle's opposite number Byron Musgrove who was involved in the first major incident of the game when he was red-carded in the opening period after handling the ball outside his box as Jake Mason raced onto James Gordon's through ball.

Harry Fitzjohn then took full advantage of the dismissal to rifle home the opening goal from the resultant free-kick just outside the area.

The Wakes then doubled their lead when Gordon's cross into the box was laid off by Harry Brooks for Mason to slot home.

Graham Street halved the deficit early in the second period when Alex Seale won possession and his cross was turned home by Trey Wilks.

The Wakes responded and Gordon was again the provider for their third goal as his cross picked out Thomas Klinkovics who restored the Wakes' two-goal advantage.

Bourne then added a fourth when a short corner was played to Brooks whose cross was headed home by Jake Van Der Drift.

Their Derbyshire hosts rallied again in the latter stages with William Bayles hitting the post with a free-kick before Seale swept home from close range after a couple of defensive blocks had thwarted Wilkes.

Mountcastle then denied Harry Birkinshaw late on with a tidy stop to ensure the Wakes returned home with maximum points.

Bourne: Mountcastle, Gordon, Klinkovics, B Moss, Palmer, Panting, Van Der Drift, Fitzjohn, Mason, Brooks, Bottreill. Subs: Dunn, A Moss, Cardell, Hales.
