Burghley Park Cricket Club have secured a new sponsorship deal with the Flawless Beauty Group




Burghley Park Cricket Club have received a sponsorship boost as the club prepares to celebrate its 250-year anniversary.

They have signed a three-year partnership with Stamford company the Flawless Beauty Group to become the club’s main sponsor.

The Scotgate business has supported the club since 2018 and Burghley Park are extremely grateful for their ongoing support.

They will be kitting out all their senior and junior teams in new playing shirts for the coming season with the Flawless logos on the front and back of their tops.

Prit and Neeta Matharu of the Flawless Beauty Group said: “Flawless are delighted to be given the opportunity to become main shirt sponsors for Burghley Park Cricket Club.

“The last 12 months have given us all a reality check of how we miss things when they are not there.

“Clubs like Burghley need both volunteer support and funding to provide the facilities and opportunities for both the young and old in the community and that is the case now more than ever.

“We feel privileged to be able to be support the club which our own children have enjoyed being part of for several years.

“We hope many more will be able to be part of the club and enjoy the lovely setting and great team of volunteers who make this club so special.”

Burghley Park will be wearing a special edition shirt for this season to celebrate its 250th anniversary.

The club said: “Support from local businesses is vital to the club’s ongoing success and we would like to extend our thanks to the Flawless Beauty Group for their sponsorship.

Burghley get their senior campaign underway on Saturday with a double-header of friendly action against near neighbours Stamford.

The club’s two first teams meet at Burghley Park with the second strings facing each other at Stamford’s Uffington Road ground. Both games start at noon.

The South Lincs and Border League campaign also gets into full swing this weekend with Bourne 2nds hosting their Market Deeping counterparts in a Premier Division derby.

Billingborough entertain Spalding in Division One while Uffington begin their Division Two campaign with a home match against Belton Park 2nds.
