Peterborough United to provide the opposition as friendlies are revealed




Stamford and Deeping Rangers have both lined up attractive pre-season friendlies against League One neighbours Peterborough United.

The Daniels will host Posh at the Zeeco Stadium in their opening friendly on Wednesday, July 10, while Darren Ferguson's side will make trip to Deeping on Monday, July 29 (both games will kick-off at 7.30pm).

Stamford then host National League North newcomers King's Lynn on Saturday, July 13, before travelling to Holbeach United - who are managed by ex-Daniels assistant boss Danny Hussey - on Tuesday, July 23.

Southern League Central Division champions Peterborough Sports are the visitors to the Zeeco Stadium on Saturday, July 27, with Stamford also arranging friendlies against Nuneaton Borough on Tuesday, August 6, and near neighbours Grantham Town on Saturday, August 10.

Deeping have arranged a pre-season trip to United Counties League Division One side Melton Town for Friday, July 20.

They will also host Peterborough Sports on Saturday, July 20, before making the trip to Yaxley on Tuesday, July 23.
