Stamford AFC will face Hereford FC in the FA Trophy this weekend

Stamford have launched a virtual match ticket scheme to help towards replacing lost revenue from this Saturday's FA Trophy tie with Hereford.

The fourth round clash must be played behind closed doors due to the third national lockdown and it is Stamford's first match for a month due to the suspension of their league campaign.

The club are putting on a free live stream of the game against their National League North visitors but are asking supporters to consider purchasing a virtual match ticket for £10.

They said: "We understand it is a very difficult time for everyone at the moment but by purchasing a virtual match ticket for the Hereford game it will be greatly appreciated by the club."

Anyone wishing to purchase a ticket by making a payment in the form of a donation can do so by transfer to Stamford AFC's bank account which is: Lloyds Bank; Account Name: Stamford AFC Ltd; Account Number: 00206969; Sort Code: 30-98-02.

The Daniels are the only Northern Premier League club left in the competition and are looking to claim their second National League North scalp having knocked out Kidderminster Harriers in their last outing.
