Stamford AFC up to second spot in the BetVictor Northern Premier League South East Division after draw away at Leek Town
Stamford maintained their unbeaten away record to move up into second spot in the Bet Victor Northern Premier South East Division following a 2-2 draw at Leek Town on Saturday.
The hosts needed an 88th minute leveller from Darren Chadwick to deny the Daniels a superb victory as Stamford stretched their unbeaten league run to seven games.
Chadwick's 29th minute penalty had given Leek the lead, but Harry Vince's spot kick 11 minutes into the second half got Stamford back on level terms.

James Blunden then put the Daniels in front with 14 minutes remaining, but Chadwick's late leveller preserved Leek's unbeaten home record.
Blackstones went down to a third successive United Counties League Division One defeat despite taking the lead inside the first 30 seconds of their match at Harrowby United.
Joint player-boss Lee Clarke got Stones off to a storming start, but Aboubacar Sylla struck six minutes before the break to bring the Arrows level.
Sylla then hit what proved to be the winning goal on the hour mark to leave second-placed Stones 16 points behnd table-topping Long Buckby.
Former Aston Villa and Leeds United striker Julian Joachim was on target for Bourne Town - but the Wakes fell to an eighth successive defeat after a 2-1 home loss to Melton Town.
Ex-Lincoln City player Nathan Arnold had given the visitors the lead on the stroke of half-time before Joachim brought Bourne back on level terms six minutes after the break.
Nathan Benjamin then settled the contest with 15 minutes remaining to leave Melton two points behind Blackstones but with three games in hand. Bourne stay third-from-bottom.
