Stamford have swooped to sign experienced frontman Lee Clarke.

Clarke, who is the son of former Northern Ireland international Colin, joins the Daniels after leaving St Neots at the end of last month.

The 34-year-old was player-coach with the Cambridgeshire club and brings a wealth of experience to the Daniels ranks.

Clarke joined Peterborough United after starting his career at Yaxley before enjoying goal-laden spells in the Conference South with St Albans and Welling United. He previously won five caps for Northern Ireland Under 21s.
