Tolethorpe lost a close battle with Camra last weekend.

Camra batted first and Tolethorpe had both openers out with the score on 15 after seven overs.

John Sewell took an LBW and an accurate run out from the boundary accounted for the other batsman. Camra then built a partnership of 60 before Telford was bowled by Henry Bolton for 21.

As wickets fell at one end Nick Bradbury held the innings together with 83 before being bowled by Des Parr. Camra finished on 158 with M Stephenson, H Stephenson and Parr all taking two wickets.

Tolethorpe’s innings was similar with Mark Bolton (53) scoring from one end while wickets fell at the other and they finished 7 runs adrift.
