Uppingham Town defeat Parson Drove in Peterborough League Premier Division clash

Uppingham Town produced a terrific all-round performance to take the scalp of Peterborough League Premier Division big guns Parson Drove on Saturday.

Second half strikes from Jordan Spencer and James Howe ensured Town pocketed their first league win of the season while inflicting their title-chasing hosts' only loss of the campaign so far.

Goalkeeper Tom Hubbard made a crucial penalty save after Town had taken the lead following a performance which delighted recently-appointed boss Paul Sheehan in his second match at the helm.
