TWENTY/20: Semi-final washed out

Waterlogged pitch.
Waterlogged pitch.

The Stamford Charity Cup semi-final between Ketton and Market Deeping scheduled for this evening at Pit Lane has been postponed because of heavy rain.

No new date has yet been set.

The second semi-final of the Charity Cup takes place on Thursday (June 16) when Bourne travel to Barnack.

Peterborough Town have a tough first round tie in the Northants Twenty/20 Cup against Rushton at Bretton Gate tomorrow (June 14). Town dismissed Rushton for 54 in a Northants Premier Division match on Saturday (June 11), but Rushton knocked city side out in the second round of the T20 Cup last season.

It’s unlikely Wednesday’s (June 15) scheduled Jaidka Cup semi-final at the Abbey Lawns will take place as Bourne are still awaiting the winners of the a delayed quarter-final between Oundle and Market Deeping.

That quarter-final tie has still to be re-arranged.
