Bourne get reality check from clinical Long Buckby

Bourne Town were brought back down to earth after opening the season with an away win, running into a clinical Long Buckby side at the JJ Mac Stadium.

Wakes joint manager Simon Daws conceded that his side were "lulled into a false sense of security" by beating Sileby Rangers the previous weekend.

But after the Bucks scored early with a long range effort from Adam Shaw that dipped over home keeper Nick Eatough, the visitors struck again before half time when Haim Halim's low shot somehow got through the Bourne keeper.
