Bourne Town recorded back-to-back wins with a 3-1 away victory at bottom of the UCL Division One side Stewarts & Lloyds Corby last night (Tuesday).

The Wakes also won 4-0 against Burton Park Wanderers on Saturday.

Bourne went into the game on Tuesday with an eye on coming away with all three points, especially as their opponents were on the end of a record breaking 12-0 defeat to Northampton Spencer at the weekend.

Bourne scored twice in two minutes to take the initiative, Josh Hales broke the deadlock after 20 minutes and Aris Placis doubled the lead two minutes later.

Teenager Hales scored his second eight minutes into the second half to wrap up the win for Bourne.

Dany Reid replied for the Foundrymen on the hour mark but it was too little too late.

Bourne: Aaron Fagan, Joe Moore-Papworth, Dan Wilson, Andy Moss (Cardin Pierre-Liverpool), Aaron Jesson, Tyler Sculthorpe, Aris Placis, Henry Dunn, Scott Spearink, Josh Hales, Jones De Sousa (Harley Williams).
