A large garden which featured in the Good Gardeners’ Guide will be open to visitors on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.

The Old Vicarage at Whissendine includes a terrace with topiary, a formal fountain courtyard and raised beds backed by a small gothic orangery. Herbaceous borders surround the main lawn and a wisteria tunnel leads to an orchard with naturalised bulbs, four beehives and a gothic hen house with six rare breed hens. Welland Vale Nurseries of Uppingham will hold a plant stall and refreshments.

The garden has gravel paths, slopes and steps.

Admission is £3.50 for adults with children free.
