This January will see the premiere of a one-act comic play inspired by one local young man’s experience of founding what was probably the world’s first Punning Society at Cambridge University.

‘Beyond The Pail: A Plotless Play of Pun and Pottiness’ has been written by Uppingham resident Henry Dawe and will be performed by Uppingham Theatre Company.

Uppingham performances will take place in The Garden Room at The Falcon Hotel in Uppingham, on January 7, 8, 9 and 10 at 2.30pm and 8pm.

Tickets are £5 and are available in person from the Falcon Hotel or online at http://www.wegottickets.com/

This ‘plotless play’ promises to be a fun evening out for all, so make sure you get your tickets now!
