South Kesteven's Arts Around Town family days return to Bourne at the weekend and Stamford and Deepings next week
The ever-popular Arts Around Town family days will be happening this year in a Covid-19 safe way across South Kesteven to entertain families during half-term.
Events in Bourne will take place on Sunday (May 30).
Tickets are still available for far away forest sessions at the Wellhead, with sessions starting at 11.10am or 1.25pm, including a theatre show featuring a 16ft tree puppet, postcard making, and a nature workshop.
Rhubarb Theatre will also be hosting a show at the community centre on Elsea Park with sessions starting at 12.15pm or 3pm; while activities in the Bourne Corn Exchange Car Park include balloon making and pop music performances. Sessions start at 10.55am. 12.30pm and 2.15pm.
Stamford’s events will be happening on Thursday (June 3).
Events linked to colour will be happening at St Leonard’s Priory with sessions lasting 90 minutes starting at 10.30am; 1pm or 3pm. They include acoustic singers George Fowler and Andrew Brown; Half a String Theatre’s The Lost Colour puppet van; and a workshop with artist Karen Neale.
At Blackstones Sports and Social Club, the events will be themed around special deliveries. Bird in the Hand Theatre will put on a show, Pennyless folk duo will perform and Martyn and postcard making.
Sessions lasting 75 minutes start at 10.30am, 1pm and 3pm.
Meanwhile, a shoe clue treasure hunt to discover places you’ve never seen before will take place around Stamford, starting from Stamford Arts Centre.
The shows are outdoors and people will need to bring blankets to sit on and will need to socially distance. The event will happen in light rain, so bring an umbrella!

Performers will also be popping up in Corby Glen on Friday, June 4, from 11am to 3pm - no booking required.
