THOUGHT-provoking interpretations of the human form and anatomy can be seen in the gallery at Stamford Arts Centre from Sunday until Saturday, February 12.

Freelance illustrator and artist, James Millar works primarily in acrylic and ink but also uses mixed media and digital manipulation to produce work of an abstract surrealist nature.

THE Fifty buildings, 50 years exhibition can be seen at Oakham Castle until Monday. The exhibition celebrates 50 outstanding modern buildings from the swinging 60s to the present day and features leading examples of commercial, industrial, cultural and academic architecture selected for their exemplary design and contribution to the region’s identity. These include the University of Leicester Engineering Building, The Collection in Lincoln, Nottingham Playhouse, the Roundhouse at Derby College, Carlsberg Brewery in Northampton, and The Paul David Music School at Uppingham,

A DISPLAY of crafts, which has been on show at Rutland County Museum since December, will close this weekend. Items from local artisans can be seen at the museum until Saturday including Wisteria Woodcraft, Wiggle, Jo Edwards, Calla, Rhubarb and Jewellery By Shalini.
