Japanese garden opens to public on August 14

JAPANESE gardening experts, Nori and Tats Shirai will welcome visitor to the Japanese garden at Barnsdale Gardens on Sunday from 11am to 3pm as part of a series of Summer Sunday events.

Nori and Tats will be there to answer questions about the special plants, elements and design requirements of an authentic Japanese garden and there will be a display in the exhibition marquee.The Japanese garden, which is normally closed to the public, can be viewed close up (weather permitting) at this fun day out for all the family.

Entrance is free with a garden ticket costing £6.50 (£5.50) for adults and £2.50 for children. Family tickets for up to five people are £16.
