AN exhibition of paintings by Carrie Ackroyd and Debbie George can be seen at Robert Fogell Gallery, High Street St Martins in Stamford, until Saturday, December 3.
Carry Akroyd, from Luddington-in-the-Brook, Oundle, paints colourful landscape and wildlife images.
Her work is often inspired by the poetry of John Clare.
Debbie is from Holmfirth in Yorkshire.
Her work demonstrates her passion for flowers and the objects with which she surrounds herself – including ceramics, fruits, feathers and stones.
Debbie often assembles flowers or objects within the foreground of a painting and sets them against a far landscape
Robert Fogell Gallery is open from Wednesdays to Saturdays, from 10.30am to 5pm, and admission is free.
