Legendary rock star Bryan Ferry is to play at Burghley House near Stamford this summer.

Live Promotions has been running summer concerts at Burghley House for several years, and past acts have included Status Quo, UB40, Midge Ure, and Jools Holland, to name but a few.

Event director Colin Ward said: “Bryan Ferry is by far the biggest star to appear at Burghley in years, and certainly the biggest star weve been honoured to promote.”

Bryan Ferry’s Burghley appearance on Saturday, 11 June will come just before he embarks on a tour of America.

Organisers say that demand for tickets is exceeding anything they’ve ever witnessed before and up to 10,000 people are expected to attend.

Tickets can be obtained from the Stamford Arts Centre, Peterborough’s Vistor Information Centre, and The Cresset.
