A parade of colourful floats will travel along the streets of Deeping this weekend at the annual Deeping Carnival.

This year’s parade will have a ‘Carry on Rio’ theme and will take place on Sunday (July 3), leaving from the Leisure Centre car park at 11am.

After parading through the streets, the day’s events will kick off on John Eve Field in Market Deeping at midday.

Attractions will include a number of displays in the arena including the Harmony Majorettes, Inspire Dance, Shotokan Karate, Agility from First Class Dog Training and the Ministry of Dance.

There will also be plenty of fun and games, stalls, live music and a special flypast at 2pm.
