A Handful of Harmonies’ musical director Andrew Clingo is running a free workshop on Sunday at Stamford Arts Centre, with an opportunity for participants to sing in a charity concert on January 16.

The two hour workshop will commence promptly at 2pm with a bracing warm-up, leading into a workshop session. Participants will learn ‘The Circle Of Life’ from The Lion King in a six-part harmony arrangement.

There is no charge for this workshop and anyone who attends is eligible to perform with A Handful of Harmonies the following week at Stamford Arts Centre in a fundraising concert for the Mustard Seed Project.

A Handful of Harmonies is a hobby with a difference. The group gives women of all ages the opportunity to share the joy and health benefits of singing with like-minded people in a fun and creative environment.

Weekly sessions, under the instruction of a highly enthusiastic and experienced natural voice practitioner and registered British Voice Association teacher, provide opportunities for you to sing in harmony, discover new techniques and to improve your musicality, understanding and appreciation of music.

There are weekly meetings in Stamford, Bourne, Langtoft and The Deepings.

For more information please contact musical director Andrew Clingo on 01778 345857 or 07545979675.
