Ahoy, me hearties! Come and take part in swashbuckling adventures this May Half Term at Peterborough Museum and Central Library with Vivacity.

Are you a master of the seven seas? Do you dream of learning the Pirate’s Way? If so, then it’s all hands on deck this half term for Vivacity’s pirate-themed week.

This half term pirates will be invading two Vivacity sites, including Peterborough Museum with a challenging and immersive trail and Peterborough Central Library with storytelling and crafts.

Pirate Quest, taking place on May 26 to May 28 at Peterborough Museum, is for budding young buccaneers who want to become the star in their own pirate adventure, learning essential pirate skills before putting them to the test in an exciting quest around the museum.

For younger scallywags, sail on over to Peterborough Central Library on May 29 for Pirate Tales. Classic stories, such as ‘My Granny is a Pirate’ and ‘Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs’ will be retold in an interactive way, encouraging the children to get involved.

Pirate Quest at Peterborough Museum will run from 10am to 5pm from May 26 to May 28. Prices are £4 for adults, £3 for children, £10 for families.

Pirate Tales at Peterborough Central Library runs from 10am to 4pm on May 29. Story-telling sessions will run every hour with the first session starting at 11am and the last session at 3pm, with other activities throughout the day. Prices are £3 per child, with accompanying adults free.

For more information call Pirate Quest on 01733 864663 or Pirate Tales on 01733 864280.
