A SPECIAL cottage garden will be open for the National Gardens Scheme from 11am to 5pm, tomorrow and Sunday.
The garden at 21 Chapel Street, Haconby is overflowing with plants for year-round interest and at this time of year visitors will see a spectacular display of unusual snowdrops, aconites and hellebores along with numerous other spring plants and bulbs.
Keen gardeners will find that owners Cliff and Joan Curtis are extremely knowledgeable and are always happy to share their wealth of experience and love of gardening.
Admission is £2 for adults, free for children. Home-made teas and plants will be on sale. Visitors are also welcome by appointment. Contact 01778 570314.
