Whissendine garden that featured on BBC Gardeners' World to open in aid of the National Garden Scheme




This Sunday (May 30), The Old Vicarage, Whissendine will be opening its gates for the National Garden Scheme.

This established country garden, has lots to see including herbaceous borders with peonies and alliums.

A large ornate greenhouse, topiary terrace and a fountain courtyard. It featured on BBC Gardeners’ World in 2019.

Tickets are £5 (children free) and can be pre-booked online at www.ngs.org.uk. Cash payments are also possible on the day.

Home-made teas will be available at Ashwell Grange, LE15 7LT, just five minutes drive away, between Whissendine and Ashwell.
