Grab a bargain at children’s nearly new sale

A family is organising a nearly new sale to raise money for a research charity close to their hearts.

Andrea and Paul Scholes have supported Histiocytosis UK since their son Oliver died of a rare blood disorder in 2012 at the age of two.

They have raised more than £25,000 since then but hope to add a few more pounds to their total during September, which is Histiocytosis Awareness Month.

The sale offers parents the chance to clear out their clutter by selling their unwanted maternity, baby and children’s clothes, toys and equipment.

The sale takes place on Sunday at Essendine village hall from 2pm to 4pm. Admission is 50p.

Tables cost just £10 and must be booked in advance by e-mailing BabySale@10kforOlly.co.uk or calling 07745 133156.

All proceeds from the sale will go to Histiocytosis UK.
