A guitarist has released his sixth solo album this week.

Lightning Strikes Twice by Keir Daly went on sale on Monday.

Keir, 18, grew up in Market Deeping but now lives in Stamford.

He said: “I guess you would think of my style as in a folk-rock tradition like Neil Young.

“Like him, I alternate between electric and acoustic guitar. But for every album on which I sing I have also released an instrumental album, and on this album I have gone even further.

“It’s a double CD and one of the CDs is entirely acoustic, while the other is entirely electric.”

Keir has been playing live for a number of years. He spent two years at school in China and played to large audiences in Shanghai, where he recorded his third album Made In China.

His next gig is in a slightly less exotic setting, at The Hole In The Wall in Cheyne Lane, Stamford, on Friday next week.
