Harmonious sounds to fill St John’s Church

Stamford’s St John’s Church will play host to talented musicians Katharine Parsons and Leon King, tomorrow (Friday).

The concert at 11am will be titled ‘Malbrouck s’en va-t-en guerre’. Katharine and Leon will play Biber’s Harmonia Artificiosa no. VII for two viola d’amores and continuo, and Carl Stamitz’s Marlborough Sonata.

The concert is free admission with a retiring collection in aid of The Churches Conservation Trust.
