Have your say on the future of Bourne Town Hall
People in Bourne have at least three chances to have their say on the future of its Grade-II listed town hall before the end of 2015.
Engagement events are taking place at Bourne Town Hall on November 25 from 10am till noon, December 8 fron noon till 2pm and December 17 between 2pm and 4pm.
A Lincolnshire County Council spokesman said: “A consultation has been launched asking people who live in Bourne how they think the Town Hall building could be used in future.
“Although the building has been used for many different purposes over the years, it currently sits empty even though an ancient deed dating back to 1821 gifted the building for the benefit of the people of Bourne.
“Six options have been set out by independent experts in charity law as the only options that would be legally possible under the original deed of gift.
“THerefore, drop-in events are being held in Bourne for people to find out more about the options when there will also be opportunities to see inside the Town Hall itself.”
