Follow the yellow brick road down to the Corn Exchange Theatre in Stamford this June for a magical performance of one of the nation’s favourite musicals, The Wizard of Oz.

Click your heels and join much loved characters, Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow and Toto the dog on their journey to meet the Wizard of Oz in one of Stamford Amateur Musical Society’s special productions of the classic story, but be sure to watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West.

Stamford Amateur Musical Society is excited to bring The Wizard of Oz to the Stamford Corn Exchange stage from June 11 to 14, following the huge success of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stage adaptation.

This enchanting family musical is based on the 1939 Oscar winning original movie, containing all the beloved songs and iconic characters.

The musical society has been busy rehearsing to create a fantastic treat for all the family, where you will all experience amazing special effects, spectacular costumes and superb choreography.

There will be an evening performance at 7.30pm and a Saturday and Sunday matinee starting at 2.30pm.
