Father Christmas is preparing his sleigh for the final dates on his annual tour of the area.

Santa’s nightly tour of Stamford, which will begin at 6pm each evening, will call at the following streets:

Friday, December 19: Lonsdale Road, Sutherland Way, Highlands Way.

Members of Stamford and District Kiwanis will accompany Santa and collect money to support local causes.

Santa will also join Rutland Lions. His route will be as follows: Friday, December 19: Tesco, Oakham from 3pm to 5.30pm.

Saturday, December 20: Furleys, Market Place, Oakham from 9am to 1pm.

Sunday , December 21: Graffam Drive, Cold Overton Road, Kings Road, Westfield Ave, Parkfield Road, Hill Top Road, Redland Road, Mendip Road, Hectors Way.

Monday, December 22: Alsthorpe Road, Sculthorpe Close, Edmonton Way, Stamford Road.

Tuesday, December 23: Lonsdale Way, Digby Drive, Churchill Road, Glebe Way, Braunston Road, Harrington Way, Grampian Way,

Christmas Eve: Balmoral Road, Derwent Drive, Nene Crescent, Welland Way, Irwell Close, Trent Road, Tyne Road, Brook Road.

Father Christmas will continue his busy schedule by joining Deeping Lions on a tour around the Deepings and surrounding villages.

His programme is as follows, from 6pm to 9pm each evening and including surrounding streets:

Friday, December 19: Meadow Road, Thackers Way west.

Monday, December 22: Tattershall, Meadway, The Avenue.

Tuesday, December 23: West Deeping and Tallington.
