Live comedy to return to Uppingham Theatre with Zoe Lyons headlining as well as The Iron Horse Ranch House in Market Deeping and The Cresset in Peterborough
Live comedy is set to make a return to venues across the area as coronavirus restrictions are eased.
Laugh It Up will be coming to Uppingham Theatre on Thursday, August 19.
The gig, presented by Enterlude, will be headlined by Zoe Lyons, well known for appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week and quiz show Lightning.
The comedy gig will also feature guests Daliso Chaponda, a regular on BBC Radio 4 with his show Zitizen of Nowhere; Jack Gleadow, an award winning performer from Hull; and MC Craig Murray, a regular act on the UK circuit.
Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is also launching a comedy night at The Iron Horse Ranch House in Market Deeping on Wednesday June 30.
Topping the bill will be Andrew Bird, who was the support act on Michael McIntyre’s recent arena tour and has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, as well as performing internationally.
Opening the night is El Baldiniho, who recently appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, with his individual style of comedy magic and mind-reading.
Completing the line-up will be Olaf Falafel, who has become known as ‘Sweden’s eighth funniest comedian’.
Compere for the night will be the warm and welcoming Spiky Mike.
Tickets are £10 in advance with doors opening at 7pm and the show at 8pm. Food is available from the restaurant before the show.
