Popular French song bird, Flossie Malavialle will make a return visit to Aslackby Village Hall on Saturday, May 18.
Flossie’s charm and wit along with her Geordie patter was well received when she played in the village three years ago.
Flossie became involved in the British folk scene in 2000 while she was on a teacher exchange in the north east of England. After going home to France she realised she missed the life she had enjoyed in England and decided to return.
She is now based in Darlington and although she still teaches in the area her main focus is her singing.
Flossie’s repertoire is very open. Her songs include famous numbers like Allan Taylor’s Roll on the day; Kieran Halpin’s Making up the miles and Edith Piaf’s eternal favourite, No regrets.
The doors will be open from 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets are £10 from 01778440974; 07740832750.
