FOLK singer and songwriter, Emily Smith will perform at The Barn in Baston on Thursday, February 24.

Emily is firmly established as a leading light on the Scottish folk scene. She was Scots Singer of the Year for 2008/2009, has released four critically acclaimed albums, and toured extensively with her band on the international folk circuit.

She is recognised not only as one of Scotland’s finest interpreters of traditional song but also as a talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her recent television work includes performing on BBC 1 Scotland’s Hogmanay show and she also appeared on the most recent series of Transatlantic Sessions.

Emily will be joined by musicians, Jamie McLennan and Duncan Lyall.
