Open Gardens at Whissendine

The green-fingered among you can pick up a few tips from some beautiful gardens which are open to the public in Whissendine on Sunday (June 28).

In addition to the gardens, which are open from 12 noon to 4pm, a selection of garage sales will also be stationed selling regular items such as clothes, accessories, jewelery and toys.

Entry is £4 with accompanied children free and there are lunches and teas being served throughout the day at the Village Hall.

There is also the chance to visit the Whissendine Windmill and meet owner Nigel Moon, who will demonstrate how to make bread.

A church service will be held at 11am for anyone wishing to start their day out with Christian worship.

Maps will be available on the Village Green.
