Pinter classic runs until Saturday

There is still a chance to see Stamford Shoestring Theatre’s production of Harold Pinter’s classic ‘The Homecoming’ which is being staged until Saturday at Stamford Arts Centre (7.45pm, tickets £10/£8 conc).

The Homecoming is considered by many critics to be not just Harold Pinter’s, but one of the 20th century’s masterpieces. A long-absent son and his attractive wife, return to his contentious childhood home, still occupied by his father and two younger brothers.

Plunged into a misogynistic household, the wife’s intelligence and sexual charisma begins to control the family. Contains adult themes and events
