Rotary Club members are hoping for a good turnout at a garden show as they look to raise as much as possible for good local and national causes.
The Rotary Club of Stamford St Martin’s has settled on the Garden Show as it’s big annual fundraiser and is running the event for the third time this year, with sponsorship from the Walled Garden Centre and Tea Rooms at Elton Hall.
The show will take place on the Meadows on Sunday and will support Thorpe Hall, and Cystic Fibrosis and Pulmonary Hypertension Associations nationally.
The theme of the show is “inspiring gardening for all” and the club hopes to see gardeners of all abilities come along.
Stamford Garden Show is a free to enter event and will run from 10am until 4pm.
There will be stalls featuring general and specialist plants, local gardening services, food and drink - and entertainment rides for youngsters to enjoy.
The club meets every Tuesday evening at The William Cecil with a lively social calendar, and raises funds to support the education and development of local youth, and nominated high-impact charities.
