There's a French market in Bourne on Friday.

A specialist French market will visit Bourne today (Friday, October 16), adding a flavour of the continent to the South Kesteven market.

A group of 14 traders will promote and sell French food, fashion and goods in Bourne outside the Corn Exchange from 8am to 2pm.

Vintage music and family entertainment will welcome shoppers who will be able to sample some French style cuisine and snacks.

South Kesteven District Council’s venues and facilities manager, Paul Stokes said: “We wanted to bring something different to our market this October.

“This is with the specific aim of giving Bourne residents a different style offering on a non market day.

“We’ll closely monitor reaction to the event to gauge if there is interest going forward.”
