St John’s Church in Stamford to host commemorative concert

A concert is being held on Tuesday at St John’s Church in Stamford to commemorate the 100th anniversary of a battle in World War One, which had a major impact on the town.

The concert at 7.30pm is in aid of the Royal British Legion and The Churches Conservation Trust.

The Belvoir Wassailers will mark the centenary of The Battle of the Hohenzollern Redoubt on October 13, 1915.

Tickets are on sale for £8 (£5 concessions) at the Stamford Arts Centre. Telephone the box office on 01780 763203.
