Stamford Museum to host illustrated talks on The Past and the Future

STAMFORD Musuem’s winter season of illustrated talks on The Past and the Future starts on Wednesday in Stamford Arts Centre.

The first talk, High Street Shops written by museum curator, Phillipa Massey will be delivered by Elaine Shawyer who will speak about Stamford’s main shopping street and how it has changed over the years.

Further talks include: The Changing Face of Stamford on Thursday February 17; The ‘Other’ High Street on Thursday March 3; Hops and Hostelries on Wednesday March 16 and A History of Stamford Museums on Thursday March 31.

All of the talks begin at 7.30 pm and admission is £5 (£4.50). Tickets for reserved seats will be on sale at Stamford Arts Centre - 01780 763203.
