The Tin Pigeons selected as BBC Introducing act with Radio 1 airplay

Four piece indie-folk band The Tin Pigeons, who all studied at Stamford School, have been selected as the new BBC Introducing supported act and their track ‘Sparks’ has been played throughout this week on BBC Radio 1.

Band members Douglas Tawn, Tom Quemby and brothers George and Fraser Norton, formed the band during their school days and have already performed at Notting Hill Arts Club, Ronnie Scott’s and Fiddler’s Elbow.

The band are poised for an exciting festival season with appearances at Secret Garden Party, Boardmasters, Lost Village and Barn on the Farm in addition to returning to Stamford to play at the Stamford Music Festival.

BBC Introducing was created in 2007 to support undiscovered musicians.
